Mission, Kan., (June 25, 2024) – Agenda: USA, Kansas City’s first and only Accredited Destination Management Company (ADMC), is pleased to welcome two respected hospitality industry professionals to the team.
Jill Campbell joins Agenda: USA as Manager of Event Services with deep experience in the hospitality industry and a special expertise in hotel operations, catering and convention services. After several years as Catering and Convention Services Manager at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, Campbell served as Assistant Director of Event Management at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. She received multiple awards for her accomplishments at both hotels. More recently Campbell served as Operations Manager for Dolce Bakery during the bakery’s period of rapid growth.
Campbell launched her hospitality career after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and her MBA in Business and Marketing from the Keller Graduate School of Management. She also received a certificate in Hotel Administration from Christelijke-Hogeschool in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, an internationally oriented university of applied sciences.
Lauren Harlan joins Agenda: USA as Manager of Operations & Logistics with more than 20 years of meeting planning experience. She most recently served as Senior Meetings & Event Planner for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Prior to that she served as Meetings Coordinator for the International Association of Assessing Officers.
Harlan began her hospitality career after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Park University, where she graduated Cum Laude. She received her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credentials in 2014 and has served in leadership roles with the Heartland Chapter of the Professional Conventions Management Association (PCMA).
